Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ALEPHDATE LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Steady Capital," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit this website or submit a funding request. Steady Capital is a referral service that connects small businesses with independent third-party funding providers. We are not a lender and do not make credit decisions.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit a funding request form, we collect:
- Business name and business type
- Your name and role at the business
- Business phone number and email address
- Approximate monthly revenue range
- Time in business
- Requested funding amount and intended use (if provided)
- Any other information you choose to include in the form or in later communications with us
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics infrastructure may record limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring page. We use this data only to operate, secure, and improve the site.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and this site is intended for business owners and authorized representatives of businesses.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Review your funding request and match you with vetted third-party funding providers (working capital, lines of credit, equipment financing, SBA-program lenders) that fit your stated needs;
- Contact you about your funding request by phone, email, or — only if you have separately opted in — text message;
- Send you marketing or informational emails, only if you have separately opted in;
- Maintain records of your request and our communications;
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse;
- Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.
We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to the funding-referral service described on this site.
3. How We Share Information — and How We Do Not
Funding providers. When you submit a funding request, we share your application details (business name, contact information, revenue range, time in business, requested amount) with one or more vetted funding providers solely to fulfill your own funding request. This sharing happens at your direction, so that a provider can evaluate your request and contact you about it. Providers are independent companies with their own privacy policies, and we do not authorize them to use your information for marketing unrelated to your request.
Service providers. We use a small number of vendors who process data on our behalf and under our instructions — for example, website hosting, email delivery, and SMS delivery platforms. They may not use your information for their own purposes.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our legal rights, prevent fraud, or ensure the safety of others.
Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Mobile Information and SMS Consent
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, or sold to, any third party for any purpose.
For clarity: sharing your business contact details with a funding provider, as described in Section 3, occurs only to fulfill the funding request you initiated. Your SMS opt-in and consent records stay with us — they are never transferred to funding providers or any other third party, and no third party may text you under our program.
Our SMS program ("Steady Capital Alerts") is governed by our SMS Terms. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of submitting a funding request or of receiving any product or service. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
5. Data Retention
We keep funding-request records and related communications for as long as reasonably necessary to service your request, maintain accurate business records, comply with legal and audit obligations, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or de-identify it. SMS consent and opt-out records are retained as required by carrier and messaging-industry rules so that your opt-out choices are honored.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and access limited to personnel who need it to service your request. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data in line with industry practice.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- SMS: Reply STOP to any text to opt out; reply HELP for help.
- Email: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us at the address below.
- Access, correction, deletion: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us at the address below. We will honor requests as required by applicable law, including applicable US state privacy laws.
- Do Not Track: Our site does not respond to browser DNT signals, as no industry standard currently exists.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
8. Third-Party Websites
If you follow a link to a funding provider's website or any other third-party site, that site's own privacy policy applies. We encourage you to review it.
